The standout Ghanaian moment in Italy came courtesy of Caleb Ekuban, who scored during Genoa’s dramatic second-half turnaround to claim a thrilling 3-2 win over Bologna at the Luigi Ferraris.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Ibrahim Sulemana contributed 26 minutes off the bench as Cagliari edged Fiorentina 2-1. In Serie B, Alfred Duncan made a brief appearance in Venezia’s emphatic 5-2 triumph over Mantova, while Emmanuel Gyasi logged 28 minutes for Palermo in a drawn contest against Modena.
France: Heavy minutes, mixed results
In Ligue 1, Alidu Seidu completed the full match for Rennes in a 2-0 loss to Lorient, where Nathaniel Adjei also featured for 17 minutes. Gideon Mensah and Elisha Owusu were both involved as Auxerre narrowly fell 1-0 to PSG.

In Bundesliga action, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer featured for 68 minutes as Hamburg shared the spoils with St. Pauli.
