Ghanaian footballers across the globe delivered an eventful weekend filled with goals, standout displays and notable milestones for their respective clubs in leagues spanning Europe, Asia and North America.

Leading the charge was experienced forward Andre Ayew, who opened his account for NAC Breda in dramatic fashion during their thrilling 3-3 stalemate with Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday. The Black Stars captain’s goal signals his continued push for national team recognition ahead of the World Cup this summer.

In France, Edwin Quarshie played a pivotal role for Le Mans, finding the net in their commanding 3-0 victory over Annecy in Ligue II. Over in Germany, Derick Kohn grabbed Union Berlin’s lone goal in their heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
