Douglas Owusu emerged as the hero for FK Radnik Surdulica in Serbia, calmly dispatching a penalty to secure a vital away draw against Cukaricki in the Serbian Super Liga.

In England’s Championship, Leicester City enjoyed a strong afternoon as Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku both found the net in a convincing 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town, underlining their importance to the Foxes’ promotion push.

Belgium also witnessed Ghanaian influence, with Joseph Opoku getting on the scoresheet for Waregem in a hard-fought 2-2 draw against RAA La Louviere.

Meanwhile, in Denmark, Prince Amoako delivered when it mattered most, scoring for FC Nordsjaelland in their 2-1 triumph over Midtjylland in the quarter-finals of the Ladspokal Cup.

England

Premier League

Mohammed Kudus featured for 80 minutes as Tottenham Hotspur endured a difficult afternoon, falling 3-0 to Nottingham Forest.

Championship

Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku both scored for Leicester City in their win over Ipswich Town.

Forson Amankwah also put in a solid shift, playing 80 minutes as Norwich City edged Southampton 2-1.

League One

Kelvin Abrefa and Andy Yiadom were involved for Reading, though their side suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bradford City.

Veteran winger Albert Adomah came off the bench for Walsall, playing 21 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury.

Spain

In La Liga, Inaki Williams returned from injury and featured for Athletic Bilbao, though the Basque side were beaten 2-0 by Celta Vigo.

France

Ligue 1

Alidu Seidu made a late cameo for Rennes, featuring for 12 minutes in their 3-1 victory over Brest.

Terry Yegbe played 74 minutes for Metz, who narrowly lost 3-2 to Paris Saint-Germain.

Augustine Boakye was involved for St. Etienne in their 2-2 stalemate with Bastia, while Edwin Quarshie completed the full match for Le Mans in a 2-1 win over Annecy.

Alfred Duncan saw 33 minutes of action for Genoa in their 2-1 defeat to Inter Milan.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei played 46 minutes for Schalke in their narrow 1-0 win against Nürnberg, while Patrick Pfeiffer completed the full match as Darmstadt edged Preussen Münster by a lone goal.

Albania

Mohammed Yahaya came on for 17 minutes as KF Egnatia defeated Dinamo Tirana 2-1. McCarthy Ofori was ever-present for Bylis, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Vllaznia.

Austria

Edmund Baidoo featured for 58 minutes as Red Bull Salzburg claimed a 2-1 victory over Wolfsberger AC.

Emmanuel Agyemang and David Atanga also saw action for Wolfsberger in the same encounter.

Belgium

Joseph Opoku’s goal earned Waregem a share of the spoils against RAA La Louviere, with Jerry Afriyie also featuring for the visitors.

Lawrence Agyekum provided an assist for Cercle Brugge despite their 3-2 defeat to KV Mechelen.

Emmanuel Lomotey and Richard Ofori were involved as Achnas lost 3-1 to Chloraka, with Benson Anang playing 34 minutes for the winning side.

David Abagna featured for APOEL in a drawn contest against Krasava, while Clifford Aboagye and Clinton Doudou were also in action for their respective clubs.

Denmark

Prince Amoako’s decisive strike sent Nordsjaelland past Midtjylland in the Ladspokal Cup, while Caleb Yirenkyi completed 90 minutes for the defeated side.

Douglas Owusu’s penalty was the standout moment as Radnik Surdulica drew away to Cukaricki.

Elsewhere, Benjamin Acquah and Ibrahim Tanko featured for Javor in a 1-1 draw with Radnicki 1923.

Edmund Addo and Henry Addo were involved for OFK Beograd in a drawn game against Vojvodina, while Kwaku Karikari helped Zeleznicar secure a narrow win over IMT Novi Beograd.

Skima Togbe completed the full match as Novi Pazar edged Radnicki Nis 1-0.

Switzerland

Lawrence Ati-Zigi produced a commanding performance in goal, keeping a clean sheet as St. Gallen beat Thun 2-0.

Jonas Adjetey was also involved for Basel in their draw with Lausanne.

Turkey

Nicholas Opoku delivered another composed defensive display for Kasimpasa in a goalless draw against Genclerbirligi.

Emmanuel Boateng played the entire match for Gaziantep in a narrow loss to Goztepe, while Jerome Opoku completed 90 minutes in Basaksehir’s 2-0 win over Samsunspor.

United Arab Emirates

Bernard Mensah capped off the weekend with a commanding performance in the UAE League Cup, playing a key role as Al Nasr defeated Al Ain 2-0 in the semi-finals.
