Following an action-packed weekend, Footy-Ghana serves up a full sweep of how Ghanaian footballers lit up pitches around the world over the weekend. From clutch goals to gritty 90-minute shifts, it was a busy few days for the Black Stars diaspora.

A handful of attackers stole the headlines. Eugene Ansah was on target for SC Ashdod as they battled to a 2-2 draw with Hapoel Beer Sheva. Matthew Cudjoe joined the scoring spree with a goal in Sakhnin’s thrilling 3-3 encounter with Maccabi Haifa.

In Germany, Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer came off the bench and made his mark instantly, grabbing Hamburger’s equaliser against Borussia Dortmund. Serbia’s Douglas Owusu struck the winner for Radnik, while Kwaku Bonsu Osei netted for Spartak Subotica despite a defeat to Crvena Zvezda. And in the Bundesliga, Ernest Poku contributed to Bayer Leverkusen’s emphatic demolition of Heidenheim.

England

Premier League action saw Antoine Semenyo go the full stretch for Bournemouth, though they were swept aside 4-0 by an in-form Aston Villa. Mohammed Kudus sat out Tottenham’s lively 2-2 draw with Manchester United due to injury.

In the Championship, Leicester City’s 2-1 victory over Norwich featured both Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku. Forson Amankwah made a late appearance for the Canaries. Thomas Brandon-Asante logged 90 hard minutes in Coventry’s narrow win against Stoke.

In League Two, Jojo Wollacott kept the posts for Crawley as they beat Fleetwood 2-1. Albert Adomah checked in with a short cameo for Walsall during their 4-2 win over Newport.

Spain

La Liga saw Thomas Partey back in rhythm with a full 90 minutes as Villarreal defeated Espanyol 2-0. Kwesi Sibo featured briefly for Real Oviedo in their loss to Athletic Bilbao.

Italy

Atalanta brought in Kamaldeen Sulemana late, giving him 12 minutes in their 3-0 defeat to Sassuolo.

France

Mohammed Salisu clocked another full shift for AS Monaco, though they fell 4-1 to Lens. Francis Abu played 66 minutes in Toulouse’s 1-1 battle with Lorient. Auxerre’s trio of Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Osman and Gideon Mensah were all involved in their defeat to Angers. Metz’s Terry Yegbe and Koffi Kouao helped deliver a 2-1 win over Nice, who featured Kwame Peprah.

In Ligue 2, Augustine Boakye grabbed a goal for St Etienne in their dramatic 3-2 win over Troyes, while Ebenezer Annan completed the full match. Edwin Quarshie captained Le Mans to a draw against Red Star.

Germany

Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer’s impact from the bench continued to be a storyline as he rescued Hamburger SV against Dortmund. Ernest Poku also made headlines with his goal in Leverkusen’s six-goal rout.

In Bundesliga II, Jan Gyamerah played over an hour for Elversberg in their narrow defeat to Schalke, while Patrick Pfeiffer put in 90 strong minutes for Darmstadt in their 3-2 win over Hannover.

Austria

Wolfsberger AC introduced Emmanuel Agyeman and David Atanga from the bench as they fell 2-1 to Hartberg. Edmund Baidoo nearly went the distance for Salzburg in a 1-1 draw with Sturm Graz.

Denmark

Caleb Yirenkyi and Prince Amoako featured for Nordsjaelland, though they were beaten 2-0 by Brondby.

Greece

Abdul Baba Rahman completed another full match for PAOK in a tight 2-1 loss to Panathinaikos.

Israel

Eugene Ansah and Matthew Cudjoe both found the net in their respective high-scoring matchups, continuing their impressive form in the Israeli top flight.

Serbia

Douglas Owusu struck Radnik’s winner in their 1-0 triumph over OFK Beograd. Sadick Abubakar (Radnik) and Edmund Addo (OFK Beograd) also saw action. Ibrahim Mustapha contributed 46 minutes for Vojvodina. Partizan gave Ibrahim Zubairu a late run-out in their 2-0 victory over Novi Pazar.

Further appearances came from Skima Togbe (Novi Pazar), Abdul Yusif and Kwaku Karikari (Zeleznicar Pancevo), plus Ibrahim Tanko and Bosiako Antwi (Javor). Spartak Subotica’s Kwaku Bonsu Osei also bagged a goal despite a defeat to Crvena Zvezda.

Slovakia

Kelvin Ofori and Rahim Ibrahim both featured for Slovan Bratislava as they edged Komarno 3-2.

Sweden

Emmanuel Yeboah went 72 minutes for Halmstad in a 2-0 win over AIK. Frank Junior Adjei added his name to the scoresheet for Hammarby in their 3-0 victory over Elfsborg.

Switzerland

St Gallen’s heavy defeat to Young Boys saw both Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Stephan Ambrosius involved.

Turkey

Emmanuel Boateng came on for the final stretch in Gaziantep’s 2-2 draw with Rizespor. Nicholas Opoku completed the full match for Kasimpasa in their 2-0 loss to Goztepe.
