Ghanaian native and striker Richmond Gyamfi is upbeat following the completion of his loan switch to Danish 1st Division side Esbjerg FB from top-flight side Aarhus GF, club’s official website confirms.

The 20-year-old is now set to spend the entire 2025-26 season on yet another loan spell with the Blue Water Arena campaigners. His previous loan spell last campaign was at another Danish side, Hobro IK.

“I am very pleased with the move to Esbjerg, which is a big club with a good project. In my talks with the club, I was convinced this is the right next step for me and my development. I’m looking forward to getting started and meeting the fans,” said Gyamfi in his first interview at the new club.

Gyamfi, who signed a long-term deal with Aarhus GF until 2029, has struggled to break into the first team and is now eager to make his mark in the Betinia League with Esbjerg.

Meanwhile, while he is one of the most promising Ghanaian talents, the centre-forward, whose transfermarkt valuation is estimated at €600,000, has yet to receive a senior national team cap.
