England
Antoine Semenyo once again underlined his growing importance at Bournemouth after netting his eighth Premier League goal of the season. The Black Stars forward was on target in the Cherries’ 1-1 draw against Burnley on Saturday, continuing his impressive campaign in England’s top flight.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Mohammed Kudus featured for 58 minutes as Tottenham Hotspur suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

In the Championship, it was a difficult outing for Leicester City’s Ghanaian duo Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who were involved in the Foxes’ heavy 4-1 loss to QPR.
Kwame Poku came off the bench to play six minutes for QPR, while Forson Amankwah logged 36 minutes for Norwich City in their 1-1 draw with Preston North End.
Spain
Kwasi Sibo marked his return to Real Oviedo’s starting lineup with a full 90-minute performance as they played out a stalemate against Celta Vigo in La Liga.
In La Liga II, Baba Iddrisu featured for Almeria but could not prevent a 2-1 defeat to Malaga.
Bernard Somuah stole the headlines in the Primera Federación, continuing his fine form for Celta Vigo II. The Asante Kotoko loanee scored the decisive goal as Celta Vigo II edged Real Madrid Castilla 1-0, a result that lifted them to second place and capped off the year on a winning note.

In Serie A, Caleb Ekuban played 67 minutes for Genoa in their narrow 1-0 loss to Atalanta.
The match also marked the return of Kamaldeen Sulemana from injury, with the winger featuring for 22 minutes in a welcome boost for club and country.
