Ghanaian international defender Terry Yegbe is preparing for the next step in his football career as Ligue 1 side FC Metz are finalizing the negotiations with Swedish club IF Elfsborg, Footy-Africa reports.

According to Footy-Africa’s information, the deal is worth €3 millionm while including an additional €1 million for performance-related goals.

The 24-year-old is expected to be unveiled in the coming days, once the final media obligations are wrapped up.

“Metz have shown serious ambition, and he is ready to repay that faith. Expect him to make an immediate impact in Ligue 1,” the source close to the deal confirmed.

Metz land Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe in €3m move from Elfsborg

The Ghana international, capped once by the Black Stars, also gained continental experience last term, featuring in Elfsborg’s European clashes against high-profile opposition such as Tottenham Hotspur, Athletic Bilbao, and OGC Nice.

This season, he has already racked up 18 league appearances, chipping in with a goal and an assist.

Yegbe’s current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €2.5 million.
