Medeama Sporting Club head coach Ibrahim Tanko has applauded his players after they swept aside Vision FC with a commanding 4-0 triumph in the Ghana Premier League on Friday night.

The Tarkwa giants entertained their opponents at the TnA Stadium in their first home fixture of the 2025/26 campaign and delivered a performance full of flair and authority. The victory ensures a perfect start to the season, with two wins from two games.

Tanko, as he spoke to the press, visibly delighted after the final whistle, lauded the team for sticking to the tactical plan and insisted the emphatic scoreline was well-earned.

“We got everything spot on today, and the result speaks for itself,” he said. “The only downside was a brief spell where our intensity dropped, which we have to correct. But overall, the boys gave their all, and we fully deserved the points.”

The comprehensive victory keeps Medeama perched at the summit of the league table with six points and a healthy goal advantage.
