Coventry City boss Frank Lampard has been left anxiously awaiting medical feedback after talisman Brandon Thomas-Asante hobbled off during their thrilling 4-2 victory over Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.

“It’s a hamstring. He said he didn’t feel like it was a major tear, but it tightened up on him. So, it was a good thing he came off. Obviously, it’s a concern for us, and we’ll have to see how he is,” the manager explained.
Thomas-Asante will undergo scans to determine the full extent of the damage, with Coventry hoping the issue is not serious enough to derail his exceptional season.
The Ghanaian striker has been nothing short of sensational in the Championship, emerging as the club’s top scorer and one of the league’s standout performers.
