AFC Bournemouth winger Justin Kluivert has showered praise on his strike partner Antoine Semenyo, describing the Ghanaian as “world-class” following his match-winning heroics in Friday night’s 3-1 triumph over Fulham at the Vitality Stadium.

Semenyo was the heartbeat of Bournemouth’s spirited comeback, putting in a breathtaking shift that saw him score twice and create another as the Cherries soared to second in the Premier League — just one point behind Liverpool.

“He is incredible,” Kluivert enthused after the final whistle. “He shows it every game now. He is just world-class.”

The 25-year-old forward was simply unplayable on the night. His first goal was a solo masterpiece, slicing through Fulham’s backline from the left wing before nutmegging goalkeeper Bernd Leno with an ice-cold finish.

Minutes later, Semenyo returned the favour with a perfectly timed pass to Kluivert, who made no mistake in putting Bournemouth ahead. The Ghanaian then sealed the victory in stoppage time, curling a calm left-footed effort into the corner to complete a sensational performance.

Semenyo’s remarkable consistency has turned him into one of the Premier League’s standout attackers. His six goals this season place him behind only Erling Haaland, while his 12 direct goal involvements since May are unmatched by any player in England’s top division.

Since arriving from Bristol City in 2023, Semenyo’s evolution has been nothing short of extraordinary, transforming from a promising talent into a relentless, all-round forward driving Bournemouth’s early-season surge.
