Ghanaian winger Gabriel Bonnah has taken his career to North Africa after signing for Moroccan side Ittihad Zemmouri Khemisset ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 23-year-old speedster agreed to a two-year deal with the Botola 2 outfit, keeping him at the club until 2027. His switch comes after running down his contract in Ghana and stepping into free agency earlier this year.

Bonnah’s football story traces back to the streets of Dansoman, where he first featured for Banana Inn FC in the lower leagues. His flair and tireless energy earned him a breakthrough move to Samartex in 2022, where he quickly adapted to the demands of top-flight football. Two years later, he joined Nosterman FC, turning out for the club until its eventual collapse in 2024.

Known for his direct running, creativity on the flanks, and relentless work rate, Bonnah grew into one of the more reliable wide players in the Ghana Premier League. His consistency did not go unnoticed, with scouts monitoring his progress and the national team handing him a place in the Black Galaxies squad for the 2023 CHAN qualifiers against Benin.

The move to Khemisset marks his first professional adventure outside Ghana. For Bonnah, it represents a chance not only to test himself against the physical and tactical rigor of North African football, but also to enhance his reputation on the continental stage.
