Antoine Semenyo has claimed the English Premier League Player of the Week honour for Matchday 26 after a breathtaking display under the lights at the Etihad Stadium.
The Ghana international delivered a commanding performance as Manchester City swept aside Fulham 3-0, stamping his authority on the contest from the opening exchanges.
Semenyo struck first, reacting quickest inside the box to punish hesitant defending from Fulham and tuck home from close range. The early breakthrough set the tone for a dominant City display.

Moments later, he shifted from finisher to architect. Bursting forward with intent, he teed up youngster Nico O’Reilly for the second goal, carving open the visitors’ backline with precision. Erling Haaland then put the seal on the victory, ensuring all three points remained in Manchester.
The 26-year-old attacker, who arrived at City during the January transfer window, now becomes the third player from the reigning champions to secure the weekly accolade this season, following Haaland’s recognition on Matchday 6 and Jérémy Doku’s triumph on Matchday 11.
In the public vote, Semenyo commanded 39 percent, comfortably ahead of Virgil van Dijk, who earned 32 percent. Also shortlisted were Lukas Nmecha of Leeds, José Sá representing Wolverhampton Wanderers, Malick Thiaw of Newcastle United and Jaidon Anthony from Burnley.
