Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has set his sights on delivering the Ghana Premier League trophy to Kumasi, declaring that the moment has finally arrived for the Porcupine Warriors to reclaim domestic glory.
Amoah was the hero over the weekend when he netted the decisive strike in the 80th minute to hand Kotoko a slender but vital 1-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park. The result not only secured three points but also broke the club’s long-standing winless streak at the venue.
Voting has ended, and Albert Amoah is our warrior of the match for Berekum Chelsea vs Kotoko.

The 25-year-old, who joined Kotoko from Great Olympics, believes the foundations laid last season—where Kotoko lifted the FA Cup and also added the Toyota Cup—have prepared the team to take the ultimate step forward.
“We want to win the league. We have already won the FA Cup and everything else, including the Toyota Cup, so this is the time for us to win the league,” Amoah told Akoma FM.
He also sent out a passionate call to the club’s faithful, urging them to remain unwavering in their backing of the team throughout the campaign.
“I will urge the fans to always support us in both good and difficult times because, without them, we are nothing. Even when things get tough, they should stand with us,” he added.
Kotoko’s focus now shifts to continental action as they prepare to host Nigeria’s Kwara United in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary tie at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 21.
