Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito is looking ahead to Sunday’s clash with Hohoe United with renewed optimism, confirming that two influential squad members are closing in on a return.
The Porcupine Warriors have endured a turbulent spell marked by fitness setbacks, but Zito revealed that Walid Neymar Fuseini and Seth Kwadwo are poised to rejoin the team’s preparations. Their availability could provide much-needed stability as Kotoko seek to reignite their campaign.
The record champions have collected just one victory in their last five outings, alongside three draws and one defeat, leaving them in need of fresh momentum. Despite the inconsistency, Zito believes the squad is finally beginning to recover from the injury wave that has plagued them since the season kicked off.
“Well, so far most likely we will get Neymar and Seth to join us. Last week we had Philip and sure we might have Neymar and Seth also to join him,” he told Asante Kotoko TV.
