Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana continued his bright start to life in Italy with another decisive performance, but Atalanta were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Juventus in Turin.
The Ghanaian winger, who found the net against Torino last weekend, once again made the difference for La Dea, dazzling with pace and trickery throughout the evening. Just before the interval, he carved his name onto the scoresheet in spectacular fashion. Picking up the ball on the flank, Sulemana slalomed past two Juventus markers with a flurry of feints before drilling a lethal left-footed strike beyond the goalkeeper.
His direct running and unpredictability kept the Bianconeri’s back line unsettled, with fullbacks repeatedly left scrambling to contain him. Yet, despite Atalanta’s control for large spells, the hosts found a way back. With the clock ticking down, Juan Cabal pounced in the 79th minute to drag Juventus level.

Atalanta’s frustrations deepened minutes later when Marten de Roon received his marching orders, leaving Gian Piero Gasperini’s men to cling on with ten. The defensive resilience that followed ensured they returned north with a point, but what could have been a famous away win slipped away.
For Sulemana, however, the momentum continues to build. Two goals in his first five Serie A outings underline his growing influence in Bergamo and signal that Atalanta may have unearthed a new star for the season ahead.
