Serbian topflight side FK Spartak Subotica have completed the capture of highly-rated Ghanaian teenager Kudu Shama Abdul, tying him down on a four-year deal.

The 19-year-old defender arrives from Ghana’s Benab FC, a club plying its trade in the country’s lower divisions, where he rose to prominence as a commanding figure at the back. Abdul was instrumental in Benab’s push to the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League on two occasions, earning plaudits for his composure, tactical awareness, and leadership beyond his years.

In announcing their new recruit, Spartak hailed Abdul on their official website, describing him as a player of “foal blood” whose grit and resilience are expected to fortify their rearguard.

Already a Ghana U19 international, Abdul has been steadily carving out a reputation at the youth level with his ability to organize defenses and read the game with maturity. His performances have not gone unnoticed by national team coaches, further underlining his potential.

At Spartak, the youngster will wear the number 22 shirt as he takes his first steps into European football. His transfer marks another breakthrough for Benab FC, a side steadily gaining recognition for grooming raw talents capable of making the leap abroad.
