Ghanaian forward Samuel Obeng delivered a decisive cameo off the bench as Albacete Balompié powered to an emphatic 4–1 triumph over Granada CF at the Estadio Carlos Belmonte.
Thrown into the action in the 70th minute, Obeng wasted virtually no time announcing himself. Within seconds of stepping onto the pitch, he latched onto a perfectly weighted through ball from Lorenzo Aguado before coolly dispatching his finish beyond Luca Zidane.
The goal re-established a comfortable two-goal margin at 3–1 and effectively ended any hopes of a Granada comeback.
Albacete had earlier burst out of the blocks with ruthless efficiency. Quickfire goals from Jonathan Gómez and Lluís López inside the opening 15 minutes set the tone, leaving the visitors chasing shadows from the outset.
However, Granada showed brief signs of life after the break when Gonzalo Petit pulled one back shortly past the hour mark, momentarily unsettling the home side managed by Rubén Albés.
That flicker of resistance was swiftly extinguished by Obeng’s clinical intervention. With momentum firmly back in their grasp, Albacete pushed on and added further gloss to the scoreline late on. José Carlos Lazo applied the finishing touch to a slick move, converting from close range after a well-worked assist by Carlos Neva.

Obeng’s latest contribution adds to what has been a quietly productive season in Spain’s second tier. The striker has now featured 22 times in the current Segunda División campaign, registering four goals so far.
Buoyed by this commanding display, Albacete will now shift focus to their upcoming home clash against SD Eibar, a fixture that promises to test their growing momentum.
