Youth and Sports Minister Kofi Adams has issued a passionate rallying cry to Ghanaians to stand firmly behind the Black Stars as the national team enters the final and most decisive stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification journey.
Ghana are set to take on the Central African Republic and Comoros in their last two qualifying encounters, fixtures that will ultimately determine their ticket to the global tournament.
In a heartfelt message released on Monday, Adams, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency, expressed his firm belief in the team’s resilience and unyielding desire to make the nation proud.
“Our Black Stars have shown incredible determination and skill throughout this campaign,” he said. “I am optimistic about their ability to secure qualification and bring glory to Ghana. With your support through prayers, cheers, and positive thoughts, we can lift their spirits and motivate them to succeed.”

The Sports Minister further stressed that beyond the game itself, this is a moment for the entire nation to unite in purpose and belief.
“Our journey to the tournament is within reach,” he affirmed. “With faith, collective effort, and the relentless spirit of our Black Stars, I believe they will rise to the occasion and bring honour to Ghana.”.
Adams urged fans not to relent in their support, reminding them that their energy and encouragement could make all the difference as the players prepare for the defining stretch of the qualifiers.
“Go Black Stars! Ghana is behind you all the way,” he added.
The Black Stars currently sit atop their qualification group with 19 points, three clear of closest challengers Madagascar, leaving them in a commanding position heading into the final fixtures.
