Ghanaian midfielder Clement Ansah has taken the next bold step in his career, sealing a switch to Slovakian giants FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda ahead of the fast-approaching 2025/26 season, according to the official statement.
The 20-year-old, who carved his reputation as a tough-tackling and industrious central midfielder, has signed a two-year deal with the Yellow and Blue, which also includes an option for an additional year. His arrival comes after running down his contract with North Macedonian side KF Shkupi.

Ansah’s rise has been steady but determined. He first caught the eye at Bofoakwa Tano, where his combative presence in midfield was pivotal to the Sunyani-based club’s memorable promotion to the Ghana Premier League in the 2023/24 campaign. He featured in 13 league outings, providing an assist along the way.
When Bofoakwa suffered relegation, Ansah did not hesitate to test himself beyond Ghana’s borders, moving to KF Shkupi in late 2024. A short loan spell with Turkish second-division outfit Çorum FK followed, before he returned to Macedonia and established himself as one of Shkupi’s key performers. By the end of the campaign, his numbers spoke for themselves: 27 appearances, two goals, and four assists.
Despite his progress at club level, the midfielder is still waiting for his first international call-up. The switch to Slovakia could prove to be the stage that finally propels him into Ghana’s national setup.
FC DAC 1904, perennial contenders in the Fortuna Liga, are banking on Ansah’s energy, vision, and ball-winning qualities to strengthen their midfield unit as they push for silverware this season.
