Promising Ghanaian youngster Foster Apetorgbor has sealed a transfer to Norwegian top-tier outfit Sandefjord Fotball, marking a significant milestone in the teenager’s budding football career.
The 18-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Eliteserien side after completing his move from African Vikings Academy Football Club. The deal highlights Sandefjord’s long-term belief in the young midfielder’s ability and potential for growth.
Before securing his move to Europe, Apetorgbor gained valuable experience in Ghana’s top flight with Nsoatreman FC, where he continued to develop his reputation as one of the country’s exciting young prospects.

Club officials at Sandefjord have expressed strong confidence in the teenager’s talent and future contribution to the team.
“Foster is a very exciting signing. He is a young talent who has just turned 18 and who has trained with us this winter. We are signing him for five years, so we have to be patient because he is still young, but he has a long contract and an x-factor that is very exciting offensively. We are looking forward to seeing him continue in the blue jersey,” said the club’s Sports Manager, Matteus Bardsen.
The Ghana youth international also shared his excitement after completing the transfer, describing it as an important step in his professional journey.
“I see this as a big step for me and my career, hope I can do good things for Sandefjord Fotball. I’m really looking forward to playing for Sandefjord,” he said.
Apetorgbor could make his first appearance for Sandefjord as early as this weekend when they face Vålerenga Fotball in a league encounter.
The young Ghanaian will don the number 17 shirt as he begins a new chapter with the Norwegian side.
