Joseph Paintsil has become Getafe’s transfer target as the Spanish club is actively looking for a potential Christantus Uche‘s replacement, as he is set to join Wolverhampton for €20 million, Africafoot exclusively reports.
According to the report, Getafe management is working hard to recruit Joseph Paintsil, who is under contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy until June 2027.
José Bordalas, the Azulones coach, is said to appreciate the former KRC Genk player’s profile as an unrepentant dribbler.
It is believed that Getafe are willing to offer €12 million for the services of the Accra native.
This season, the 27-year-old winger has already scored five goals in 20 MLS matches with the Los Angeles Galaxy. According to Transfermarkt, Joseph Paintsil has a market value of €11 million.
Paintsil also has 15 caps for the Ghana national team to his name.
On Friday, August 29, Getafe FC will play their Matchday 3 match of the Spanish league against Valencia CF.
