Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was the architect of Leicester City’s dramatic comeback on Saturday, whipping in a gorgeous stoppage-time assist that sealed a 2–1 victory over Norwich City and reignited the Foxes’ Championship campaign.
The Ghanaian winger, electric from start to finish, created the decisive moment deep into added time when he floated a pinpoint delivery onto the head of Jordan James, ending Leicester’s four-game winless streak in the most clinical fashion.

Issahaku could easily have walked away with a goal of his own. Twice he forced Vladan Kovacecic into sharp saves, and another gilt-edged chance late in the game dipped just over the bar. Still, his influence never faded.
Norwich had drawn first blood midway through the second half, with Mathias Kvistgaarden pouncing after Leicester failed to clear a loose ball in the area. The Foxes responded almost instantly. Substitute Bobby De Cordova-Reid, who came on for Jordan Ayew in the 72nd minute, smashed home a thunderous equalizer just three minutes later.
From there, the match tilted into chaos and half-chances until Issahaku took control in the dying moments, crafting the winner that sent the away end into a frenzy.

The 21-year-old’s contributions this season continue to grow. His tally now stands at six goal involvements in 14 Championship appearances, underlining his importance in Leicester’s push back toward the top.
Issahaku will next link up with Ghana’s Black Stars as they head to Asia for the Kirin Cup, where they’ll face Japan and South Korea.
