His arrival brings the total number of players in camp to 22, rounding off coach Otto Addo’s full complement of call-ups for the Asian tour.
Asare has been a key figure in Ghana’s recent resurgence, playing a vital role during the team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign, where he featured in six matches and impressively recorded five clean sheets. His consistency and leadership at the back have made him one of the most dependable goalkeepers in the domestic league.
