Bechem United have officially unveiled seasoned trainer Kobina Amissah as their new head coach, following the dismissal of Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway earlier this week.

The Ghana Premier League outfit confirmed the appointment on Wednesday, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the club after a frustrating start to the 2025/26 campaign.

Botchway was relieved of his duties on Monday, November 3, after guiding the Hunters to just one victory in eight league outings, alongside three draws and four defeats.

Renowned for his tactical discipline and ability to stabilise struggling sides, Amissah steps into his new role with immediate effect. His first task will be preparing Bechem United for their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles on Sunday, November 9, as he looks to inject fresh energy and direction into the team’s campaign.
