Bechem United head coach Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway has acknowledged his team’s faltering start to the campaign but insists there is no shortage of effort behind the scenes to turn their fortunes around.
The Hunters have endured a frustrating opening stretch to the season, failing to register a win in their first four outings, drawing twice and losing twice, a run that has left supporters anxious for a spark.
However, the recent goalless draw against Hearts of Oak provided a glimmer of optimism, with the return of talisman Augustine Okrah and other key figures injecting renewed energy and balance into the squad.

Looking ahead to their weekend trip to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars, Botchway revealed that the team has intensified training, particularly in the attacking department, as they push to translate effort into results.
“We have done a lot this week concerning finishing. We are still on it, we won’t give up. I want the supporters to know that I’m working hard to make them smile,” Botchway told Bechem United TV.
Bechem United will travel to the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium on Sunday, October 12, 2025, seeking their first victory of the campaign and a much-needed confidence boost.
