Ghanaian striker Ezekiel Alladoh took his first steps in Philadelphia Union colours after featuring in the club’s pre-season friendly against Czech side Sigma Olomouc in Spain.
The MLS outfit are currently camped in Marbella, where they have kicked off preparations for the 2026 season with an intensive training programme and a series of test matches lined up to sharpen the squad.
Alladoh, who sealed a move to Philadelphia Union in December from Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna, linked up with his new teammates in Spain last week as pre-season officially got underway. It didn’t take long for the former Accra Lions forward to make an impression.

After just a handful of training sessions, the Union technical team handed the Ghanaian a starting berth against Sigma Olomouc, underlining the confidence already placed in him.
Leading the line, the tall forward was immediately involved in the action, playing a key role in Philadelphia Union’s opening goal, which was finished off by strike partner Stas Korzeniowski early in the contest.
Both Alladoh and the rest of the starting XI were withdrawn at the interval as the Union rang the changes, giving a completely fresh lineup the chance to impress in the second half.

Sigma Olomouc responded after the break, pulling level to ensure the encounter ended in an entertaining 1–1 draw.
Philadelphia Union will continue their pre-season camp in Marbella, with FC Nordsjaelland up next in their second friendly of the tour.
Alladoh’s competitive bow for the MLS side is expected to come in the Concacaf Cup championship, where Union are scheduled to face Defence Force, marking the next milestone in the Ghanaian forward’s new chapter in American football.
