Abdulai proved instrumental in helping the home side recover after falling behind, as he found the back of the net to spark Dunfermline’s comeback effort against their determined visitors.
Partick Thistle drew first blood in the 15th minute when Logan Chalmers capitalized on an opportunity to put the visitors ahead. The goal separated the two teams at the interval, with the away side taking a narrow lead into halftime.
Dunfermline responded positively after the restart and restored parity just five minutes into the second half, with Abdulai rising to the occasion to level matters for the hosts.
However, the visitors were not done yet. Alex Samuel struck again for Partick Thistle after being teed up by Tony Watt, giving the away side renewed control of the contest.
Partick Thistle appeared set to claim all three points on the road, but Dunfermline produced a dramatic late twist. In stoppage time, Kieran Ngwenya found the decisive equaliser to ensure the hosts salvaged a valuable point from the contest.
