Nations FC escaped with a priceless point after Emmanuel Annor struck an 85th-minute equalizer to rescue his side from what would have been their fourth loss of the campaign, settling a lively Matchday 9 curtain-raiser at the Dr. Kwame Sports Complex at 1-1.
The clash delivered almost everything the fans showed up for: tempo, tension, and two sides unafraid to trade blows. The league newcomers, Hohoe United, arrived with intent and looked nothing like a team still finding its feet. The draw leaves Nations FC anchored in 11th on 10 points, ahead of a tricky trip to face Berekum Chelsea. Hohoe United, who also sit on 10 points but edge into 10th place, now turn their attention to a tough visit to Dreams FC.
