Heart of Lions midfielder Samuel Boamah is brimming with belief that his side has what it takes to mount a serious push for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title.

The Kpando-based club has enjoyed a flawless start to the campaign, winning each of their opening three fixtures. Boamah played a decisive role in their latest triumph, setting up the only goal in a hard-fought victory over Bechem United at the weekend.

Reflecting on the team’s bright opening to the season, the midfielder stressed that the mood in camp is one of optimism and ambition.

“I will thank God for the win. I think we are very excited with the win because, looking at our position on the league table, we have the potential to win the league title,” Boamah remarked in his post-match comments.

While satisfied with the outcome, he admitted the encounter against Bechem United was far from straightforward, describing it as the most demanding test his side has faced so far.

“Today’s opponent was really tough. They were tough compared to the matches we have played so far. Our determination gave us the win, but it was a very tough match,” he explained.

With maximum points after three rounds, Heart of Lions sit at the summit of the league standings. The team’s early momentum has sparked excitement among their supporters, who are beginning to dream of a title run.
