Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has been named Player of the Season at FC Nordsjælland after an exceptional campaign in the Danish Superliga.
The highly-rated youngster received the honour ahead of the club’s league fixture on Sunday, rounding off a memorable season that has seen him emerge as one of the most important figures in the Nordsjælland setup.
A product of the renowned Right to Dream Academy, Yirenkyi has enjoyed a major breakthrough year, earning praise for his maturity, technical quality and tireless performances in midfield.
