Ghana Premier League holders Medeama SC have pulled off one of the biggest transfer deals of the domestic window after completing the signing of explosive winger Emmanuel Annor from Nations FC on a three-year contract.
The agreement will keep the highly coveted attacker at the Tarkwa-based outfit until 2029, with the Mauve and Yellow reinforcing their ranks ahead of a campaign that will see them defend their league crown while also returning to the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
Annor arrives as one of the most coveted talents in Ghanaian football following another outstanding season that attracted interest from several top-flight clubs. Medeama ultimately won the battle for his signature, reportedly beating off strong late competition from Aduana FC to secure the services of the FA Cup-winning winger.

Confirming the acquisition, Medeama described Annor as one of the elite performers in the Ghana Premier League and expressed confidence that he will elevate the club’s attacking options.

The winger could not hide his delight after finally sealing a move that had long been in the making, revealing that Medeama had first attempted to sign him two years ago.
“I am incredibly happy to finally become a Medeama player. This move almost happened two years ago, so to finally be here is a dream fulfilled. I thank God, the management of Medeama and everyone who worked hard to make this transfer possible,” he told the club’s website.
Annor also spoke enthusiastically about joining an ambitious project in Tarkwa and the opportunity to play alongside some of the club’s brightest talents, including rising star Kelvin Nkrumah.
