Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side will head into their final Ghana Premier League game of the season determined to secure maximum points against Hearts of Oak, even after already wrapping up the league title.
The newly crowned champions will make the trip to Accra on Sunday, May 24, for their Week 34 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they are expected to conclude a memorable domestic campaign.
Although Medeama have already been confirmed champions, Tanko insists his players have no intention of easing off in their final league assignment. The former Ghana international acknowledged the difficulty of facing Hearts of Oak but stressed that his team remains fully focused on ending the season strongly.
“Even when we played them here, we didn’t find it easy to beat them. It was a tactical game. Now we have won the league, so we are going there with no pressure. We are going to play our normal game with the hope that we will get our three points,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.
