Ghanaian midfielder Awuley Abdul Rahman has secured a new chapter in his European journey after completing a transfer to Spanish club CD Arenteiro ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The former Legon Cities player has officially joined the Spanish lower-tier side as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign, with the versatile Ghanaian expected to add steel and experience to the team.
Awuley arrives from fellow Spanish side CD Cabecense, where he featured before earning his latest move. Having spent several seasons plying his trade in Spain, the midfielder brings valuable knowledge of the country’s football environment as he prepares to compete in the Primera Federación.

Predominantly a central midfielder, Awuley is also capable of operating in defence, offering CD Arenteiro tactical flexibility in multiple positions. His ability to perform across the pitch is expected to be a significant asset as the club targets a strong campaign in the Spanish third tier.
