Hearts of Oak midfielder Enoch Asubonteng has urged calm among the club’s supporters, insisting that talk of winning the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League crown is premature.

The Phobians have begun to find their rhythm after a frustrating opening draw with Hohoe United, responding with back-to-back victories over Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders. Asubonteng himself was the hero in the most recent outing, striking the decisive goal in a hard-fought 1–0 triumph at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But while the wins have lifted the mood around the camp, the 21-year-old midfielder believes the long campaign ahead demands patience and perspective.

“It’s too early to talk about the title,” Asubonteng cautioned as he told the press. “There are so many games left, and other clubs have also shown they will be very competitive this season. We are determined to fight and make our fans proud, but right now our focus is only on taking it game by game.”

The Accra giants will look to stretch their unbeaten run when they face Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Matchday 4 this weekend.
