Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after helping NAC Breda secure two successive victories in the Eredivisie as the club battles to stay clear of relegation.

The Ghanaian forward played the full 90 minutes on Saturday as NAC Breda edged FC Volendam in a tight Week 24 encounter at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.

The victory marked the club’s second straight league triumph, a timely boost for a side fighting to maintain its top-flight status. Ayew has featured throughout both wins, highlighting his growing importance within the squad since his arrival.

Interestingly, the Dutch side had not managed to register back-to-back league wins since December 2024 prior to Ayew joining the team.

Following the latest result, the former Olympique de Marseille, West Ham United and Swansea City attacker took to social media to celebrate the moment while also turning his focus to the team’s upcoming challenge against Telstar.

“Back-to-back wins. Stadium on fire. One team, one family. Focused on Friday,” he wrote on Instagram.

After 24 matches this season, NAC Breda sit just above the relegation zone with 22 points as they continue their fight for survival.

Since completing his move during the winter transfer window, Ayew has made seven appearances for the club, though he is still searching for his first goal contribution.
