Ghanaian centre-back Mohammed Salisu is focused on his work at AC Monaco, while media reports several clubs are not only interested in his services, but supposedly have made bids for his transfer, according to Footy-Africa.
A source at player’s representatives at CAA Steller, denied speculations that Salisu’s move from Monaco is imminent.
“There hasn’t been a formal bid for Mohammed. There has been interest expressed by several clubs, including Olympiacos and Crystal Palace, but nothing has been presented officially. Mohammed remains focused on working hard in Monaco,” a source told Footy-Africa.
Reports tied the 25-year-old to Olympiacos, while Crystal Palace were also believed to be approaching Salisu.
Salisu still has three years left on his contract with AS Monaco, that runs until July 2028.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €12 million.
Since arriving to the club, Salisu took part in 37 matches across all domestic and European competitions, scoring three goals and registering one assist to his name.
