German-Ghanaian forward Nii Weber has embarked on a new chapter in Berlin football after completing his transfer from FC Wilmersdorf to SCC Berlin.
The 28-year-old striker has joined SCC Berlin as a free agent, with the move officially concluded on 19 August 2026. The switch, however, will not take Weber outside the Berlin-Liga, as SCC Berlin and his former employers both compete in the same division.
Born in Berlin on 7 August 1998, Weber brings dual German-Ghanaian nationality to his new club and arrives with a playing profile centred firmly around the attacking third. Standing at 1.84 metres, the right-footed forward is primarily deployed as a centre-forward.
His recruitment provides SCC Berlin with another conventional focal point in attack, with Weber’s experience as a central striker adding a different option to the club’s offensive ranks.
Rather than representing a step into a new division, the move is a change of scenery within the Berlin-Liga, allowing Weber to remain in familiar surroundings while taking on a fresh challenge with SCC Berlin.
His departure, meanwhile, draws the curtain on his spell with FC Wilmersdorf, where he had been part of the Berlin-Liga setup.
For SCC Berlin, the acquisition represents a straightforward piece of business from within the league: a Berlin-born striker with German-Ghanaian nationality, a recognised centre-forward profile and experience at the level the club currently occupies.
Weber’s move was completed without a transfer fee on 19 August 2026, bringing his FC Wilmersdorf chapter to a close and formally beginning his time with SCC Berlin.
