Ghanaian forward Frank Acheampong has vowed that Henan FC will fight until the very last whistle of the 2025 Chinese Super League season.
The 31-year-old was at the heart of Henan’s dominant display over the weekend, inspiring a 4-0 thrashing of Dalian Yingbo at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium. Acheampong capped his lively performance with a goal, underlining his influence in attack.
“A goal and a win, we will continue to strive for success until the very end,” he posted on his social media after the match.
Henan wasted no time asserting control in the encounter. Brazilian forward Felippe Cardoso opened the floodgates inside nine minutes, before Lucas Maia struck twice in quick succession midway through the first half. Acheampong then added his name to the scoresheet with a composed finish before half-time, effectively sealing the contest.
