The Ghana Football Association has played down concerns over injuries in the Black Stars camp, insisting the team remains well-equipped heading into their upcoming international friendlies.

With key forwards Inaki Williams and Brandon Thomas-Asante ruled out, questions had emerged about Ghana’s attacking strength. However, GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has expressed confidence in the squad’s depth, stressing that there are capable replacements ready to rise to the occasion.

According to Twum, the technical bench is encouraged by what it has seen in training, particularly from emerging options stepping into the spotlight. Among those catching attention is Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, whose energy and sharpness have impressed early on.

He described Königsdörffer as “very lively” in camp, adding that his early performances have been encouraging for the coaching staff.

The FA believes the current group has enough quality and versatility to navigate the absence of regular starters, with internal competition expected to push players to deliver.

Ghana will test their readiness in a friendly against Austria on March 27, before taking on Germany three days later, as preparations intensify for future competitive assignments.
