Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku delivered another standout performance, finding the back of the net as Leicester City secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Bristol City in their EFL Championship Matchday 37 encounter on Tuesday night.

Leicester wasted little time asserting their dominance, breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute when Benjamin Nelson put the hosts ahead with a well-taken finish.

The Foxes continued to control proceedings and were rewarded again midway through the first half.

Issahaku doubled Leicester’s advantage in the 28th minute, calmly converting to cap off a swift attacking move and give the home side a firm grip on the contest.

While Leicester have endured a challenging campaign overall, the 21-year-old Ghana international has consistently been one of the club’s brightest performers. His strong run of form has reportedly drawn attention from a number of elite clubs monitoring his progress.

With his latest strike, Issahaku has now contributed to 16 goals across all competitions this season, scoring nine times and providing seven assists in 35 appearances for the Foxes.

Fellow Ghanaian Jordan Ayew was also involved in the match, featuring for 68 minutes before making way for Zambian forward Patson Daka.

Both Issahaku and Ayew are widely expected to be included in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming March international fixtures and could play key roles as the Black Stars prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
