Ghanaian centre-back Samuel Ofori has reached a major career milestone, bringing up 100 senior professional appearances in style with his current club, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey.
The landmark came during Kirivong Sok Sen Chey’s gritty 2–1 win over Dangkor Senchey in the Cambodian Premier League. After the final whistle, the club marked the occasion by presenting Ofori with a specially designed jersey, celebrating his century of games in professional football.
Still in the early stages of what is shaping up to be an expansive career across multiple leagues, Ofori’s rise began at The Dolphins FC before he took a bold step abroad in the winter of 2022, joining Tajik side Ravshan Kulob on a free transfer.

His first official appearance came in April 2022 against Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda, and he quickly established himself as a key figure, featuring in 20 of the club’s 22 league matches that season. His impact was so immediate that he walked away with the Best Foreign Player award in Tajikistan’s Vysshaya Liga.
Ofori went on to play a central role in Ravshan Kulob’s most successful recent period, helping the club finish second in the league in both 2022 and 2023, lift the 2023 Tajik Supercup, and compete on the continental stage in the AFC Cup and AFC Champions League Two.
Shorter spells followed in Moldova with Zimbru Chișinău and back in Tajikistan with Khosilot Farkhor, experiences that further broadened his footballing résumé. He has since found stability and fresh momentum in Cambodia with Kirivong Sok Sen Chey, where he continues to add chapters to an already well-travelled career.
Reaching 100 professional matches is a rare benchmark for any player, and for Ofori, it stands as a testament to his durability, adaptability, and steady rise across different footballing cultures. With plenty of years still ahead of him, the Ghanaian defender looks set to keep pushing that number higher.
