Forward Aaron Opoku, a German-born Ghanaian, has sealed a move to Turkish Super Lig outfit Kayserispor FK in the ongoing summer transfer window, club’s media team confirms.
The 26-year-old arrives from German side FC Kaiserslautern, penning a two-year contract with an option for an additional 12 months. His arrival is expected to add firepower to the Red and Gold’s frontline as they gear up for the new season.
“Aaron Opoku and our club have signed a two plus one year contract. We wish our player continued success under our glorious jersey,” Kayserispor announced in an official statement.
Opoku linked up with his new teammates in training earlier this week, preparing for their season opener against Istanbul Basaksehir on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Born in Hamburg, the versatile attacker began his career with hometown club Hamburger SV, before embarking on loan spells at Hansa Rostock, Jahn Regensburg, and VfL Osnabrück.
Although he represented Germany at youth level, Opoku remains eligible to feature for the Black Stars of Ghana, keeping the door open for a potential international call-up.
