Ghanaian international midfielder Iddrisu Baba is expected to extend his contract with UD Almeria for another two years in the coming days, Africafoot reports.
The 29-year-old has reached an agreement with the club’s management, who have promised him a salary increase. He will receive a salary of €950,000 per year, compared to his current salary of €820,000.
While his contract with Almería expires in June 2027, Baba has already begun discussions to stay longer at the UD Almeria Stadium.

According to the report, the defensive midfielder has reached an agreement with the board of the Madrid-based club for a two-year extension.
Loaned to Almeria from Real Mallorca in August 2024, Baba joined the club permanently in June 2024 and has become a key player in the team.
This season, he has already played five matches and scored one goal in La Liga 2. His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €1.2 million.
