AFC Bournemouth have made it clear that Antoine Semenyo will not be leaving the Vitality Stadium in the January transfer window, despite mounting interest from England’s elite clubs, ESPN reports.

The Ghanaian forward, who only recently signed a new contract with the Cherries, has been on the radar of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur. Several enquiries were lodged over the summer, but Bournemouth successfully fended them off, with Semenyo committing his future to the south-coast side.

The club’s stance is even stronger this time. Having secured their man on fresh terms without a release clause, Bournemouth hold complete control over any negotiations.

Reports suggest it would take an offer in the region of £70 million just to tempt them to the table, but insiders insist a mid-season sale is off the cards altogether.

Semenyo’s electric start to the 2025/26 campaign has only heightened his value. The Black Stars attacker has already notched three goals and two assists in his opening five league outings, form that saw him scoop both the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month honours in August.

For Bournemouth, losing him midway through the campaign is simply not an option. Club officials are intent on building around their in-form star rather than cashing in, signalling their ambition to cement a stronger presence in the Premier League.
