Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Didi Dramani, has called on the club’s supporters to throw their weight behind the team, insisting their presence at matches is crucial to the side’s progress this season.

The Phobians finally registered their first victory of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign on Monday, edging Dreams FC 1-0 in a tense clash at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema.

Speaking to the press after the match, Dramani stressed that the heartbeat of the club lies with its supporters and urged them to turn up in numbers to inspire the players.

“We want the fans to come to the stadium. They should let their presence be felt. The team is theirs. We are trying to make the team better for them. We are giving them a clear identity and direction,” he said.

Midfielder Mohammed Hussein grabbed the game’s only goal in the 14th minute, showing sharp awareness to pounce on a loose ball in the area before calmly guiding it past Dreams’ goalkeeper, Gidios Aseako.

The decisive strike not only sealed all three points but also offered a timely boost after Hearts had stumbled to a goalless draw against newly promoted Hohoe United in their league opener.

With four points now on the board from two games, Hearts climb steadily up the early table, while Dreams FC find themselves rooted to the foot of the standings after suffering consecutive defeats.
