Ghanaian forward Benjamin Bernard Boateng has embarked on a new chapter in his career after signing for Lebanese Premier League heavyweights Nejmeh SC, according to the official announcement.

The 24-year-old attacker, known for his blistering pace and fearless style of play, arrives in Beirut as one of the club’s marquee recruits for the upcoming season.

Boateng first rose to prominence in his homeland with Elmina Sharks FC, where his sharp movement and goal-scoring instincts earned him 15 goals in 40 appearances and a reputation as one of the Ghana Premier League’s brightest prospects. His exploits soon attracted interest from abroad, leading him to Egypt, where he donned the jerseys of Al-Ittihad Alexandria and Smouha SC.

Over multiple campaigns in the Egyptian Premier League, Boateng amassed 20 goals and six assists, delivering memorable moments, including a spectacular strike against continental powerhouse Al Ahly SC.

Earlier this year, Boateng ventured into the Libyan top flight for a brief stint, further sharpening his experience in North African football. Now, in search of a fresh challenge, he has opted to join Nejmeh SC—one of Lebanon’s most storied and passionately supported clubs. Nicknamed “The Star Club,” Nejmeh boasts a proud history and a fervent fanbase known as the Manara Castle faithful.

Boateng’s arrival has already generated excitement among supporters, who see him as a vital addition to the squad’s attacking arsenal. With his direct running, technical flair, and relentless energy in the final third, he is expected to be a central figure in Nejmeh’s push for domestic dominance this season.

The Ghanaian winger will now aim to quickly adapt to Lebanese football and repay the faith shown in him, as Nejmeh looks to strengthen its legacy both at home and on the continental stage.
