Ghanaian winger Clinton Duodu has reportedly caught the attention of Turkish side Sivasspor, who are exploring the possibility of bringing the highly-rated youngster to Turkey from Cypriot outfit Apollon Limassol, per multiple reports.
The interest in the 21-year-old right winger emerged on August 18, 2026, with Sivasspor, who currently compete in Turkey’s 1.Lig, understood to be monitoring Duodu as they assess potential attacking reinforcements.
Duodu, however, remains tied to Apollon until May 31, 2027, leaving any potential transfer dependent on the Cyprus-based club’s willingness to negotiate his release.
The Ghanaian has featured three times in Apollon’s four UEFA Conference League qualifying fixtures so far this campaign. His involvement has been limited to appearances from the bench, with the winger yet to earn a start or contribute a goal or assist.
Despite his modest early-season numbers, Duodu remains part of Apollon’s plans as the club navigates the opening weeks of the 2026/27 campaign. He is primarily deployed on the right flank and currently wears the number 17 shirt.
Duodu made the switch to Apollon from Ghanaian side Bechem United on September 6, 2024, beginning his European adventure with the Cypriot club.
His current market valuation stands at €350,000, although there has been no indication of the fee Apollon would demand should Sivasspor formalise their interest.
At this stage, the Turkish club’s pursuit remains firmly in the exploratory phase. There is no reported agreement between the parties, while the financial terms and likelihood of a completed transfer have yet to be established.
With Duodu contracted for another season, Sivasspor would need to reach an agreement with Apollon before the Ghanaian could make the move to Turkey.
