Ahead of their 2026/27 title defence and CAF Champions League campaign, Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have secured the services of versatile defender Ebenezer Adade from Dreams FC on a long-term deal.
The 25-year-old right-back has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at the Tarkwa-based outfit until 2029, becoming one of the club’s key additions as the Yellow and Mauve continue an ambitious recruitment drive before the new season.
“Medeama SC bolsters defence with right-back Ebenezer Adade on three-year contract,” wrote the club.
Medeama have wasted little time strengthening their squad after lifting the league title, with Adade’s arrival viewed as a significant boost to a team preparing for the demands of domestic and continental football.
Widely regarded as one of the Ghana Premier League’s most dependable full-backs, Adade brings experience, consistency, and tactical flexibility. Equally comfortable at right-back, right wing-back or in right midfield, he offers head coach additional depth and competition across the right flank.
The former Ghana U-20 international enjoyed an outstanding spell with Dreams FC, where his impressive displays elevated his reputation as one of the country’s finest defenders. His performances were rewarded with a maiden Black Stars call-up, making his senior international debut in Ghana’s pre-2026 FIFA World Cup friendly against Mexico.

Adade first joined Dreams FC from Cheetah FC on loan in January 2023 before the move was made permanent. During his stay with the Still Believe lads, he featured in 49 matches and established himself as a key figure in the club’s defensive setup.
His move to Medeama marks another important step in his career, with the reigning champions banking on his experience and versatility as they aim to retain their league crown while mounting a strong challenge in the CAF Champions League.
