Hearts of Oak are closing in on the signing of midfielder Evans Osei Wusu, with the Ghana Premier League giants edging ever closer to securing another addition ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Accra-based club have intensified efforts to bolster their squad in preparation for the new season, and Osei Wusu has emerged as one of the latest pieces in head coach Nebojsa Kapor’s rebuilding project.
A move to the Phobians would also rekindle a familiar partnership between player and coach. Kapor previously worked with Osei Wusu during their spell together at Tema Youth, a relationship that is expected to facilitate the midfielder’s adaptation should the deal be completed.
While neither club has officially announced the transfer, discussions are understood to be in their final stages, with only the remaining formalities standing between the player and a move to the record Ghanaian giants.
