Teenage Ghanaian midfielder Nana Kofi Donkor delivered an impressive performance on Thursday evening, scoring to help FC Dinamo Tbilisi record a hard-fought 2-1 triumph over Spaeri FC in the Georgian Erovnuli Liga.
The talented 19-year-old featured for the entire duration of the Matchday 9 encounter at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, playing a key role as the Georgian giants secured a valuable victory in front of their home supporters.

Dinamo Tbilisi looked sharp from the opening whistle and were rewarded midway through the first half after Donkor broke the deadlock in the 29th minute. The Ghanaian calmly applied the finishing touch after being teed up by Saba Kharebashvili.
Buoyed by the opener, the home side continued to press forward and doubled their lead five minutes later. Experienced striker Mate Vatsadze completed a swift attacking move with Nikoloz Ninua providing the assist.
Holding a two-goal cushion at the break, Dinamo Tbilisi dictated much of the tempo after halftime while limiting Spaeri’s attacking opportunities.

The visitors, however, managed to set up a tense finish when Zurab Golubiani pulled one back in the 82nd minute, but the hosts remained composed in the closing stages to protect their advantage and seal maximum points.
Donkor’s strike marked his second goal of the campaign, with the promising Ghanaian continuing to establish himself as an important figure for Dinamo Tbilisi after nine league appearances this season.
